We're looking for a Manager, Global Resiliency to join Snap Inc! As a member of the Global Security Team, you will work under the direction of more senior staff to support and maintain the Global Resiliency and Crisis Management Program. Working from our Santa Monica, CA office, you will develop and maintain crisis management and incident response procedures, conduct business impact analysis and risk assessments, and develop resiliency plans for our critical activities around the world. You will also perform updates to information supporting the program and will work closely with resiliency partners across the organization to ensure effective and accurate information.

What you'll do:

  • Be responsible for incident response and management.

  • Manage and enhance Snap’s CrisisManagement Framework for incident response across all regions, working closely with the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) and Regional Security Managers (RSM).

  • Complete business impact analysis, risk assessments and develop resiliency plans.

  • Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate regular testing of all technical components of incident response. Report on results, and keep track of follow-up items.

  • Maintain resiliency software used to support program activities.

  • Develop processes and procedures to ensure program information is accurate and accessible.

  • Prepare analysis and coordinate readiness exercises and the effectiveness of resiliency plans.

  • Assist in the development and facilitating resilience awareness and incident response training.

  • Identify, develop, and deliver program related training across the organization.

  • Provide input into strategic planning and take ownership of managing projects.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience with crisis management and incident response.

  • Experience conducting business impact analysis, risk assessment, and plan development.

  • Experience working with resiliency software and emergency notification systems.

  • Ability to efficiently balance multiple projects simultaneously, while coordinating with internal and external consultants, vendors, and other partners.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to accommodate tight time constraints and shifting priorities.

  • Goal-oriented and able to navigate ambiguity while operating with minimal direction.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Able to think creatively and challenge the status quo.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in the subject or equivalent years of experience.

  • 5+ years of Resiliency Planning (Crisis Management, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery) experience or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience working with Fusion RM, Everbridge Mass Notification or similar systems.

  • 3+ years of experience working for a multinational organization.

  • Related professional certifications such as CPP, AEM, or CEM.

  • Military, government, or NGO experience.

  • Knowledge and experience with implementing ISO 22301, 22320 & 22361.

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $138,000-$207,000 annually.

Zone B (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $131,000-$197,000 annually.

Zone C (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $117,000-$176,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
