The Sec & Derivatives Sr Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Resolve settlement issues, and serve as a SME (subject matter expert) with full understanding of expiration of exchange-traded futures & options contracts, including physical delivery and cash settlement

• Supervise operating efficiency and ensure the entire team meets performance and quality expectations of assigned tasks

• Serve as backup for manager as required

• Analyze data using data analysis tools and methodologies to make process improvement recommendations to senior management

• Provide guidance and assistance to junior staff

• Utilize understanding of futures derivatives settlement activities to interpret data, prepare reports, and present findings to management

• Manage daily performance related to derivatives post-settlement activities of operations processes

• Assist with the implementation of assigned projects, including trade flow process enhancement initiatives

• Minimizes risk to the bank by monitoring/providing solutions to errors and adhering to audit and control policies

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of relevant experience

• ETD Deliveries Experience a must

• Knowledge of EMEA Deliveries products and cycles

• Ability to work alone without constant supervision

• Ability to work on projects and add value

• Strong attention to detail and ensuring proper risk controls are followed

• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
