Maintenance Technician will preserve the good condition and functionality of the baggage conveyor belt system and passenger boarding bridges at the Birmingham Airport. Applicant must have basic experience as a Maintenance Technician. Responsibilities include:

• Monitor the Baggage Handling System from the control room
• Perform maintenance of the electrical and conveyor systems
• Be able to lift up to 75 lbs as needed
• Perform manual repairs and, when necessary, conduct general upkeep procedures, maintain and close out daily work orders
• Computer literacy is a must
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems would be a definite plus
