Introduction

GlobalFoundries is seeking a manager for the TCAD Team in Singapore with strong technical experience. In this exciting role, you will have the responsibility to lead a team of experienced engineers across topics such as Power, RF, NVM, Logic. The position entails management as well as personal technical engagement, with individual contribution of 25-50% of the working time. The individual should bring hands-on experience with TCAD and have a solid understanding in device manufacturing and physics.

Your role

• Manage the schedule and the deliverables of the Singapore TCAD team

• Align with partner departments, such as Integration, Device and Fab, as well as occasionally with Customers, to assure timely team delivery according to the company priorities. Ability to quickly shift priorities based on urgent needs

• Dedicate 25% - 50% of the working time to personal technical engagements in various programs.

• Ensure engineer skillset growth, including personal active mentoring. Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs. Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience, dedicated to modeling of materials and device physics.

• Solid understanding of semiconductor devices (resistors, capacitors, MOSFETs and Bipolars) and their fabrication

• Have already led a team as Team Lead

• Ability to clearly present results to large cross-functional groups.

• Ability to work in a high-pace environment.

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Engineering or other technical field

• 8+ years of semiconductor engineering experience.

• Mastery of principles and working knowledge of VLSI integration and design.

• Expertise in at least one of these fields: Power, RF, Scaled Logic or NVM.

• Demonstrated personal work performance in an environment requiring a high level of attention to detail and timeliness.

• Demonstrated leadership performance in leading or managing a team.
