Role description: In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating stakeholder communications, tracking the overall construction schedule, accountability of financial documentation, and overall quality of work in place for assigned projects. You will have direct and immediate oversight of assigned projects and responsibility for all onsite management of the onsite construction team. Your role as the ownership representative will leverage your expertise in design, construction knowledge, and coordination to lead our construction and all aspects of the construction review process. Your commitment to precision, adaptability, and tenacity will be pivotal in establishing best in class procedures. Role accountabilities: As a Construction Manager you will review and evaluate designer document submissions, architect's supplemental information, contractor submittals, RFIs, field memos, and mock-ups, for validation of contractual performance compliance, identification of project risks, and conformance to approved schedule, budget, and quality standards. You will also represent Arcadis as a safety leader and advocate onsite ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., Occupational Safety and Health Administration [OSHA], or equivalent) to ensure compliance and aggressive management of risk. Conducts routine safety program, project, and contractor audits, and performs and participates in incident investigations.

Continuous monitoring of contractor submitted schedules, financial documents, and quality conformance of work in place, and provide weekly reporting to identify status and forecast progress, potential risks, or perceived impacts.

Manage work in compliance with state, local and Federal requirements.

Analyze contractor performance in the field to compare with schedule and cost documentation, report findings to Project Manager, and provide support as required for coordination and reconciliation of risks and discrepancies.

Work with scheduler to review designer and contractor schedules, analyze critical path, validate updates, confirm progress, evaluate options, and communicates schedule progress status to the project manager, client, consultants, and other project stakeholders as needed.

Work with estimator to build detailed cost reports, change notices, and other cost control tools.

Work collaboratively and proactively with clients, designers, contractors, consultants, and municipal authorities to successfully deliver all project goals.

Monitor subcontractor adherence to safety standards.

Review contractor payment applications along with the schedule of values to validate percentage of construction complete for each trade, as well as materials and equipment on-site.

Review, negotiate and make recommendations on proposed change orders.

Manage projects to complete on-time, within budget, and at the specified standards of quality.

Attend and participate in project meetings, produce meeting minutes, field reports, and provide briefings using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
