FP&A Senior Analyst

About the Role:

As a CBRE FP&A Senior Analyst you will be a part of Finance department responsible for Budgeting, Forecasting as well as controlling the costs in the company and ensuring that the results are correct.

What You’ll Do:

  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities - review and verify data entered by budget owners, prepare analysis of budgeted costs, reports for budtet and forecasts,

  • Maintenance of budgeting/forecasting tool - Anaplan (enter changes, upload actuals, etc),

  • Participate in month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities and reporting,

  • Overseeing proper accrual-based accounting, including if necessary, calculation of accruals and delivery to accounting for booking purposes,

  • Monthly review of individual Business Line P&Ls; analyses of margin and cost components,

  • Overseeing proper revenue recognition and completeness of billing,

  • Prepare and analyze monthly operating results against budget/ forecast/ historical trends (management reports),

  • Analyze variances and explore potential issues, make recommendations to the local leadership and advise on impact,

  • Support local leadership in analysis and projects - act as a Finance Business Partner to the local leadership,

  • Prepare other regular and ad-hoc financial analyses delegated by supervisor,

  • Assist in providing information and responding to queries from Stakeholders/ Group,

  • Provide recommendations for improvements of existing processes / tools

What You’ll Need:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Analysis, Controlling, Management Accounting etc.,

  • Candidates with experience in other areas of Finance/ Accounting will be considered if they have proven to have the required abilities and skills,

  • Proficient knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to quickly learn other software and computer applications,

  • Fluency in English and Polish (mandatory requirement),

  • Very good understanding of finance and accounting principles, knowledge of US GAAP would be an asset,

  • Very good analytical skills,

  • Strong interpersonal skills - ability to communicate with clarity and build strong working relationships, focused on teamwork, able to manage change during implementation of automation initiatives,

  • Ability to work under time pressure and deliver quality product on time,
