Job Description

Currently seeking a CNC Assistant for a full-time temporary to permanent position in Warren, RI. A great opportunity to work with a company that cares for their employees and has team building outings that makes everyone feel like family.

Responsibilities of CNC Assistant:

-Set-up and operate CNC Lathes

-Load and unload materials onto machines

-Adjust settings as needed to maintain specifications

-Maintain all necessary documentation

-Utilize metrology equipment to inspect faces, heights and diameters

-Perform routine maintenance

-Trouble shoot and solve problems or issues that may arise

-Follow blueprints, work orders, and machining instructions

-Maintain a clean and safe work area

Requirements of CNC Assistant:

-Minimum High School Diploma or GED

-At least 3+ years CNC operating experience

-Past experience operating high speed, manual, or semi-automatic production machinery

-Familiarity with G&M codes

-Experience with GD&T

-Set-up or programming experience a plus but not required

-Strong attention to detail

-Good verbal and written communication skills

-Proficient in measuring tool

Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm OR 9:00am-5:30pm Monday -Friday with possibility of overtime

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
