Community Health Systems Director-Facilities Plant Operations-FT in VICKSBURG, Mississippi

Description

The Director of Facilities provides overall management and strategic leadership to plan, organize, direct, coordinate and control the daily activities of the Plant Operations Department to provide services, repair, and maintenance necessary to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the hospital and clinical facilities. The Director of Facilities must evaluate, maintain, and correct all aspects of the facility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulatory codes and standards.

Associates degree in physical plant operations, industrial maintenance or related discipline is required. Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.Five (5) years of industrial maintenance and four (4) years of Plant Operations management experience is required. Experience with healthcare facilities and working familiarity with JCAHO accreditation standards required.
