The Credit Compliance Analyst I - is responsible for developing competencies for monitoring established loan covenants, borrowing base requirements and compliance with executed loan agreements/documents for existing borrowers. This position will work closely with senior Credit Risk personnel and lending staff to identify potential red flags and to help mitigate the risk to the Bank. Additional responsibilities include comparing loan agreements with approved loan terms to ensure approved terms have been adhered to.

Key Responsibilities: · Review borrowing base documents for revolving lines of credit. Must be able to analyze accounts receivables, accounts payables and inventory reports to properly assess collateral position. · Review financial information and compliance certificates provided by existing borrowers and recalculate and verify that the covenant compliance ratios are correct. · Interact closely with Portfolio and Relationship Managers regarding compliance requirements. · Detailed and accurate data entry into nCino or other appropriate software packages. · Track all covenant defaults and resolutions and provide regular report to senior management for review and follow-up.

Competencies Required: · Working knowledge of lending and credit risk management concepts, practices and procedures. · Solid technology and internet skills, including intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, SharePoint and Excel) and ability to navigate financial software applications. · Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and projects in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines. · Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends. · Good attention to detail and concern for data accuracy. · Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills; develops demonstrated ability to make sound business judgments. · Must take ownership and responsibility for work product · Strong customer service and communication skills, including technical writing abilities.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience: · 1 years’ experience or exposure working with analytical tools such as excel or similar required. · 1 years’ experience working in a group setting and/or on non-complex business projects involving advanced calculations required. · 1 years’ experience in the banking or financial services industry with exposure to Credit Risk Management, Consumer/Commercial Loans, or similar lending compliance related work experience preferred. · 1 years’ experience analyzing and completing Commercial Borrowing Bases and Compliance Certificates, preferred. · 1 years’ experience underwriting commercial loans preferred. · Exposure to and full understanding of Commercial Loan Documents preferred.

Formal Education & Certification: · Associates or Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred. · Combination of equivalent education and experience may be substituted for degree requirements.

Work Status: · Full-Time.

Supervisory Responsibility: · None.

Travel: · 0% - Negligible amount of travel expected.

Working Conditions: · Conditions involve lifting no more than fifteen pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, folders, etc.
