Responsibilities Job Summary Organize and oversee the programmatic, compliance, and operational activities of the Oncology Service Line value-based care programs or Alternate Payment Model (APM) programs. This role acts as a subject matter expert, leading the planning, direction, and coordination of the oncology value-based care programs to support internal and practice initiatives relevant to the APM programs. The Manager will oversee the processes related to APM program compliance, reporting, CMS/CMMI filing and updates, internal and external education, and practice engagement. Closely collaborating with teams across the organization, CMS, CMMI, program participants, and third-party vendors to improve patient outcomes, quality of care, and program performance. Program Strategy: Oversee projects to implement, test, and support new tools and technologies relevant to the value-based APM programs. Creates timeline and plans to execute projects or APM initiatives, managing team progress against those timelines. Develops, optimizes, and directs APM processes. Works with leadership to implement the strategic direction of programs and program initiatives. Operational Management: Administratively support Clinical Oncology Informatics Committee in their efforts to identify sources of variation of total cost of care or avoidable costs and research root causes. In collaboration with the clinical team design program or process enhancement designed to affect positive change. Act as the primary lesion with our external analytics vendor to leverage claims data to create performance dashboards for each clinical provider and analytic reporting on specific initiatives. Communication and Collaboration: Manages provider and practice staff engagement such as calls, emails, and meetings related to the APM programs. Assists in provider participant marketing and education. Trains physicians and staff on analytic tool utilization. Attends committee and provider meetings. Supports beneficiary engagement initiatives and related initiatives across Oncology departments when relevant. Develops educational materials and content for internal and external parties including website updates, newsletter articles, webinar content, and other communications. Monitoring and Compliance: APM Program Expertise (i.e. CMS EOM). This includes keeping abreast on CMS/CMMI changes, program nuances, APM program overlap and interplay, etc. Identifies and analyzes new regulations, regulatory memos and program requirements for organizational impact and implementation. Operational Support: Manages quality reporting initiatives related to APM initiatives. Builds reports, tracks, trends and performs analysis on program data and evaluates impact on APM performance. Manages program participant lists, contracts, and agreements internally and with CMS/CMMI. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree In business management, Information Technology, or relevant field Required Experience 4 years Experience as Project Manager or Project Analyst in Healthcare/non-healthcare industry Required
