HYBRID (Monday/Friday are WFH & Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday are in person)

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position which has the responsibility for serving the Company as a professional regarding complex data, analytics, metrics related issues and projects, as well as related strategy development associated with Field Service Analytics. Works with key internal stakeholders to identify their needs and solve complex problems.

• Ensure that reporting and analytics capabilities are developed and in place to support the monitoring, management, and optimization of core FSD business processes. Leverage these analytics to identify opportunities for transformational improvement in those and related business processes.

• Design, build, and maintain operational dashboards and reports to support the business operations.

• Work with key business stakeholders/Business Optimization team to understand and prioritize business improvement opportunities, identifying analytic needs.

• Work directly with the FSD IT Analytics team to gain understanding and influence data modeling that supports the business needs.

• Leverage SDGE Data Mesh to pull data from multiple Data Lakes to create queries to run reports to support the operations.

OPERATIONAL AREAS OF SUPPORT:

• FSD Operations (Service Dispatch, Crew Dispatch, Crew Scheduling, FSD Training, Business Optimization)

• Electric Distribution Ops (EDO)

• Electric Regional Ops (ERO)

• Customer Field Operation (CFO)

• Customer Success

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in computer science or business

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics

• 5+ years of experience using Power BI to create visually pleasing and functional dashboards

• 5+ years of experience writing SQL queries

• Highly self motivated and great interpersonal communication skills - Python experience

• TOAD experience (database management toolset)

• C++ experience null
