Term: fixed term contract for 18 months (maternity cover)

Location: fully remote (fully remote with office access in Warsaw, Poland)

Purpose

This role will support the Tools & Outdoor (T&O) supply chain finance team in terms of freight, distribution and inventory management. Working alongside the global supply chain finance team and the wider global operations teams, this position is responsible for supporting the planning, forecasting and reporting of accurate financial data to assist senior management in future strategy development and organizational direction.

The Job (responsibilities):

• Preparation and Analysis of Inventory Excess and Obsolete data

• Assisting in developing standardized models to determine cost drivers impacting our Accounts Payable in order to improve reporting/forecasting and budgeting

• Assisting in mapping and describing processes used in inventory forecasting and reporting, with a view to process standardization globally across T&O

• Analysis and supporting on Freight Lane data to identify and drive improved understanding and provide a platform for OM accretive actions

• Supporting actual, forecasting and budgeting process for regional and global transportation/inventory and AP

• Support global and regional COE

• Participation in projects and development of sourcing and validating relevant data to drive continuous improvements across supply chain

• Internal Relationships: Operations Finance Team, Regional Finance Team, Complexity Management Team, Supply Chain Team, Global Strategic Sourcing Team

The Person (requirements):

• Higher Education: Finance, Accounting equivalent through experience

• Desired: Qualified Accountant

• Experience in a similar Finance Analyst role

• IT Skills: SAP, Financial systems (Essbase, HFM), Excel

• Experience of managing significant data volumes in a data base environment (Excel and Access)

• Experience in Supply Chain, Freight, Distribution Centers, Inventory is an advantage

• Attention to detail, validating data (pressure testing data accuracy)

• Transformational Lean and Six Sigma experience (VSM/TSM) will be an advantage

• English language required, good communication skills (communication with a wide group of stakeholders)

• Team player, strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently, able to work remote
