Reference #: 1337 Harmony Biosciences is recruiting for an Associate Director, Commercial Analytics in our Plymouth Meeting, PA location. In this role you will be responsible for partnering with stakeholders in the development and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) within the Commercial organization. Patient Services, Trade, and Market Access will be the primary stakeholders with additional support to other Commercial teams as required.  Success in this role depends on a deep understanding of product commercialization and how to connect operations to revenue-generating activities.  It also entails developing a thorough understanding of the patient journey, including benefit verification, prior authorization, and ultimate dispensing and refill processes. This position needs to be a specialist in championing system education, implementation, and process refinements that directly enable Commercial functions to maximize their data intelligence that will drive strategic decision making.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Support Patient Services, Trade, and Market Access excellence by proactively providing analytics and reporting to enable Commercial leadership to manage effectively. Refine and define KPIs for the Commercial organization to gain insights into the health of the organization and opportunities for improvement. Develop analytics to elucidate the impact of Patient Services, Trade, and Market Access programs on the success of the business to support data driven decision making. Collaborate with key stakeholders across the Commercial organization to react and take proactive action based on market dynamics. Partner with analytics vendors to produce new and creative reporting solutions within the business intelligence applications that will become part of core reporting deliverables. Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews with the HUB and SPs. Develop processes to ensure the highest data quality from vendors and identify opportunities to enhance data quality when possible. Conduct presentations detailing analytical assumptions to the Commercial leadership team designed to foster discussion that effectively drives team understanding of key events and facilitates decision-making across the stakeholders. Foster and create an environment that maximizes data insights through analytics that drives effective and informed decision making. Develop best practices within Patient Services, Trade, and Market Access analytics to assist in driving Commercial excellence and execution. Identify areas of potential improvement through data analysis across the Patient Services, Trade, and Market Access workstreams to include both process and contractual opportunities. Partner with Sales Operations as needed to provide subject matter expertise on data required for Incentive Compensation administration. Perform Ad hoc analysis based upon the needs of the business.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; MS/MBA or other advanced degree preferred 5+  years in pharmaceutical/biotechnology commercial analytics functions with deep exposure to data warehousing and systematizing data operations Thorough knowledge of the rare disease patient journey, including market access, specialty pharmacy and closed distribution networks, as well as HUB services Proven ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis while translating the results into easily digestible messages, communications, and presentations. Excellent experience with business intelligence solutions and application development Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple, cross-functional projects simultaneously Advanced knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint required

Physical demands and work environment: Domestic travel is estimated to be 20% of the time for this position. While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. Specific vision abilities required by this jo include: Close vision. Manual dexterity required to use computers, tablets, and cell phone. Continuous sitting for prolonged periods.
