Bloomberg LP Content Analyst - Team Leader in New York, New York

Position Duties: Leading and executing strategies for growing our core user audience, deepening user engagement with coverage, and driving innovation within our product portfolio. Develop promotional campaigns, supervising key newsroom initiatives and cross-department business plan priorities. Work closely with various Bloomberg departments and stakeholders, including Core product to enhance existing news platforms and improve discoverability of Bloomberg News coverage. Provide trouble-shooting resolutions, direct product vision and help to define the overall strategic direction and drive the business goals. Identify valuable news opportunities and prioritize features and products that will have measurable impact on usage and our audience, using research and data to inform your decisions. Influence product design in collaboration with other Bloomberg department heads, based on client need and requests. Responsible for developing News products and improving the packaging, distribution, and visibility of coverage. In addition, developing strategies with newsroom leaders to meet audience needs for coverage, driving readership, and promotion of content. Directly manage several subordinate professional level employees to ensure the delivery of accurate, timely and highly complex synopses of information relating to corporate business news. Delegate assignments and monitor subordinate’s project and assignment loads. Involved in all aspects of professional development, performance management, compensation, and training initiatives. Managing of the Editorial Product Operations budget. Directly manage one (1) Product Manager, two (2) Senior Editors, and three (3) Editors within Bloomberg News.Job Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or the foreign equivalent in management, marketing, economics, project management or related and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered, as a project manager, program manager, product manager, or related.Must have one (1) year of experience in each of the following skills: Business process improvement; Cross-functional collaboration; Stakeholder management; Change management; Marketing campaigns; and Working in a real-time news environment.Rate of pay: $160,000 - $210,000 / year

Minimum Salary: 160000 Maximum Salary: 210000 Salary Unit: Yearly
