Job Description:

Life and Health Shared Services Operations is comprised of 4 Business Units that support Life and Health (Term, Accident and Sickness and Travel) and Credit Protection Insurance products. Our business units help serve our customers from the time of policy origination through to time of claim.

We also contribute to our enterprise objective to offer a legendary client experience by providing a reliable, convenient and supportive service while ensuring to remain consistent and meet our partner's expectations.

Reporting to the Team Manager, Life and Health Shared Services Operations, the Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting our Life and Health line of business in the delivery of our Life and Health Shared Service Operations strategy and transformation solutions. You will learn the business area in order to help drive the optimization work underway within Life and Health Shared Services Operations. You will work directly with the Management team to understand the transformational objectives, obstacles, and provide supporting activities required to progress or maintain our business. You will report on progress through quantitative and qualitative measures.

Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Business/Commerce or related field

  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the end of your work term

  • Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex information

  • Experience making an impact in cross-functional groups through influence and by nurturing key relationships

  • A resourceful go-getter, with drive to research with minimal supervision

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills

  • This position is a 4-month work term and will commence September 3rd - December 20th, 2024.
