Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a highly motivated Technical Instructor with a desire to be in an Aftermarket Sales representative type role for any new product launches for one of our largest federal clients in the southeast.

This instructor will be conducting trainings onsite, in customer setting, for an audience of dealer sales personnel, service technicians and owner operators. This person will be following up with management and the customer to determine applicability, materials and adjust delivery to fit the audience. Engaging with learners in their overall training experience focusing on the feature advantages and benefits of the customers new product roll out. Also, working in partnerships with the CDL drivers to set up each launch event.

Skills and Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Automotive Technology, Heavy Equipment, or Diesel Technology, or the successful completion of a formal Automotive Technology Certificate Program OR 3 years of Diesel experience and instructor experience with a HS diploma

      * Experience with Cummins/Allison/Eaton/Duramax products

      * 1-2 years of automotive and commercial vehicle product experience

      * 1-2 years of automotive/commercial sales experience with new product launch training

      * Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills

      * Experience involving truck and engine assembly, repair, and fabrication * ASE Certification T2 Medium-Heavy Truck Diesel Engines

  • Experience delivering new product launch training courses and supporting product launches

  • Diesel engine and powertrain technology experience

  • Experience working on heavy truck or equipment

  • Any previous dealership or aftermarket service repair center/sales department experience null
