Neuberger Berman Senior Fund Oversight Analyst (AVP) in London, United Kingdom

This is a permanent role to join as a member of the Fund Oversight team in EMEA. This is a key role for an individual with several years of asset management experience. In this role, the person will support the wider business in Fund related initiatives taking into consideration the regulatory environment in which the funds operate. The role requires working cross functionally with various levels of stakeholders in Operations, Legal, Compliance, Product Development, Finance, Portfolio Management, and various external vendors that provide services to the fund range.

Responsibilities:

  • Active involvement in the following:

  • Own the production and delivery of the UCITS KIID, PRIIPs KID and prospectus updates.

  • Control the share class launch process, liaise with the relevant service providers and the fund administrator.

  • Reviewing fund documentation to ensure operational processes and workflows are detailed and reviewed frequently.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders Product, Risk, Legal, Compliance as appropriate.

  • Ability to multi-task and hit multiple project deadlines.

  • Assist management with BAU and ad hoc projects.

  • Monitor and analyse weekly and monthly fund reports.

  • Review and respond to ad-hoc queries raised across the business into team group mailbox.

  • Manage and resolve day to day operational issues with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Maintain the accuracy of our fund data with external data vendors.

  • Provide operational support for product implementation.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of industry experience.

  • Knowledge of fund structures, operations, transaction costs, and some regulation.

  • PRIIPs KID and UCITS KID experience.

  • A self-starter with skills in data analysis, reporting and problem-solving, quality control checks.

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a cross functional and cross-jurisdictional team.

  • Good written, verbal and presentation skills; ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.

  • Proactive attitude, team player, commitment to continuous learning, and willing to challenge status quo to improve processes.

  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and communication.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft - Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
