Job Title: Global Sourcing Intern Location: Latrobe, PA (hybrid)

Job Summary:

We're currently seeking highly motivated and energetic students to join our team as interns in our Global Sourcing organization. An internship within Kennametal Global Sourcing allows students to be a part of meaningful sourcing and procurement projects, while providing mentoring and professional development opportunities. Working alongside leadership, Global Sourcing interns will sharpen their skills through hands-on learning.

Key Job Responsibilities: Lead business process improvement initiatives through data analytics, root cause analysis and developing actions plans. Effectively representing functional area on cross-functional teams. Support the development and maintenance of SharePoint Site to manage standard operating procedures and policy documents for Global Sourcing team. Conduct spend analytics to identify areas where Category Management Teams can capture additional value through strategic sourcing activities. Assist Global Sourcing team in various projects. May include large data projects utilizing SAP, Sievo, PowerBI and Excel. Organizing information through PowerPoint presentations, etc.

Requirements: Candidate must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related program. Must have completed at least one semester of Sophomore year. Ability to meet a hybrid working schedule at our Latrobe, PA location.
