BlackRock Analyst - Global Payroll Payments in Gurgaon, India

About this role

BlackRock is recruiting for Analyst role in the Global Payroll & Employment Tax team. The successful candidate will partner with global professionals from Payroll, Mobile Employee Operations, Benefits Operations, and other sub-functions of the broader HR function. The successful candidate will also be responsible for coordinating with Corporate Treasury and Accounting teams in the Finance function in a fast paced and dynamic work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Global HR Employee Payments team, which will include managing the payroll specific bank account balances, uploading various bank files as required, making manual payments related to salaries, pension, taxes, employee advances etc. and performing end-to-end reconciliations to ensure all the intended payments have been made timely and accurately.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Periodic meetings with Corporate Treasury to ensure Payroll banks have sufficient funds for all payments.

  • Creation of manual payments on banking portals as per request from various HR functions.

  • Monitoring the bank debits/payments and informing the requesting team upon successful payment.

  • Maintaining monthly payment logs.

  • Analyzing the bank acknowledgement files to identify potential salary rejections before the pay day and proactive communication with Payroll to pay employees in time.

  • Maintaining the list of corporate bank relationship managers across the globe.

  • Coordination with bank relationship managers to trace payments, if required.

  • Maintaining the payment SLAs upstream and downstream.

  • Participating in various projects as required

Knowledge/ Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in Payments/Payroll Process

  • Bachelors/ Masters’ degree, preferably in Finance

  • Must be open to work late shifts

  • Good communication skills

  • Strong in Microsoft Excel (essential) and Workday (preferred)

  • Broad knowledge of HR concepts, processes and their interdependencies

  • LATAM / EMEA / APAC Payroll knowledge is preferred
