Robert Half Sr. Accountant in Greensboro, North Carolina

Description We are in the market for a Senior Accountant to join our team within the real estate development industry in Greensboro, North Carolina. This role revolves around preparing financial statements for multiple locations, reconciling various accounts, and assisting in determining correct G/L accounts. The individual will also oversee maintaining depreciation records and accounts payable.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements for multiple locations

• Reconcile General Ledger and bank accounts

• Assist each location in determining correct G/L accounts to use

• Oversee maintaining depreciation records and Accounts Payable

• Perform account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation tasks

• Conduct bank reconciliations and manage general ledger

• Prepare journal entries and utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks

• Participate in month-end close activities

• Ensure accurate balance sheet account reconciliation and bank account reconciliation

• Utilize ledger account reconciliation skills

• Prepare month-end journal entries and financial statement preparation

• Manage and maintain fixed assets. Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior accountant role within the real estate development industry

• Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations

• Experience with general ledger systems and journal entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in month-end close activities and preparation of month-end journal entries

• Knowledge and experience with balance sheet account reconciliation and bank account reconciliation

• Familiarity with ledger account reconciliation

• Experience in preparing financial statements

• Knowledge of fixed assets and experience in maintaining fixed assets

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
