Robert Half HR Generalist in Dallas, Texas

Description We are offering an opportunity for an HR Generalist to join our team in the Energy/Natural Resources industry based in Dallas, Texas. The successful candidate will provide guidance and policy interpretation, acting as a liaison on matters pertaining to employee relations. The role also involves a significant amount of interaction with supervisors, managers, and vendor organizations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and interpret company policy, procedure, and practice to employees

• Act as a liaison to resolve escalated issues by interfacing directly with vendor organizations

• Prepare and coordinate the completion of Human Resources employment transactions in collaboration with supervisors, managers, and Dallas Human Resources

• Oversee case management with the Company's workers' compensation and disability vendor to monitor claim processing and support the employee's return to work

• Coordinate the local administration of the alcohol and drug testing programs

• Identify the need for new and modified policies, procedures, or programs to address changing business requirements and operational requirements, making recommendations accordingly

• Develop and assist with the delivery of Human Resources-related communications, presentations, and training to supervisors, managers, and employees

• Collaborate with supervisors and managers in the employee selection process by networking with local referral sources, engaging outside recruiting resources, and participating in selection panel interviews

• Stay updated on changes in Human Resources-related regulations and trends

• Plan and coordinate employee events and activities Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a HR Generalist role within the Energy/Natural Resources industry

• Proficiency in managing Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration

• Proven track record in maintaining Compliance within HR policies and procedures

• Excellent skills in managing Employee Relations

• Proficiency in using HRIS, preferably Workday

• Strong Excel skills, particularly with Excel Formulas

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
