Robert Half Cyber Security Governance Analyst - Sr in Columbus, Ohio

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Data Security Analyst in Columbus, Ohio. This role focuses on supporting the Information Technology and Cyber Security organizations in matters related to audit compliance and the remediation of risk. The position requires close collaboration with various teams and driving tasks to completion within set schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with risk and audit teams and subject matter experts to drive the risk evaluation and remediation processes to completion within the Cyber Security organization.

• Build strong partnerships with key technology partners, Risk, Cyber Security, and IT areas outside of the immediate team.

• Evaluate and understand findings within the pipeline to help ensure proper planning of priorities and resources.

• Facilitate communication across teams to meet project requirements and deliverables associated with identified findings, milestones, and deliverables.

• Work with subject matter experts to create and maintain remediation strategies, tasks, and documentation related to action plan milestones and deliverables.

• Assist with regulatory audit and compliance exams ensuring required information is provided in a timely manner.

• Support governance and operational departments with policy standard and procedure updates.

• Collect, maintain, and ensure the accuracy and integrity for tracking of project plan deliverables.

• Provide status tracking updates and reporting to various levels of leadership.

• Schedule and facilitate meetings.

• Lead initiatives and projects. Requirements • Proficiency in data security and cyber security protocols

• Exceptional communication and documentation skills

• Proven experience in planning, implementing, and auditing data security measures

• Knowledge of compliance regulations and policy creation in data security

• Experience in budgeting processes and financial planning

• Ability to provide workstation support and lead a team, demonstrating strong leadership skills

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Azure

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and their application in a data security context

• Demonstrable skills in metric reporting and ensuring accuracy in all data security measures

• Experience in entity formation and remediation processes

• Ability to work effectively with partners and stakeholders

• Proven track record in delivering key project milestones and deliverables
