Job Description

DUTIES: • Provide technological and process simplification solutions to drive business simplification, standardization & transformation.

• Work collaboratively with all levels of business stakeholders to drive global initiatives and strategies for adopting Automation Capabilities (RPA, Workiva, Dodeca, workflow tools, Process re-engineering) and lead the execution of automation solutions that optimize Finance function of AIG division.

• Assist clients to optimize all elements of their accounting and finance organization.

• Document and maintain clear, concise functional and technical specifications for financial reporting applications and business system processes and cross functional support to IT team to write custom Business Rules and/or Calculation Scripts for custom logic to facilitate budgeting and forecasting needs for Workflow automation tools like Workiva and Dodeca implementation.

• Evangelize technology solutions and provide required trainings to Finance groups.

• Collaborate with technology and functional leaders to create a technical roadmap for enterprise-based products.

• Drive standardization of tools, processes, and reporting solutions that facilitate key business insights across the division through collaborative partnerships with Commercial, Business Unit, FP&A, and Corporate Systems teams.

• Assist with the integration of Hyperion applications with existing processes, including budgeting, forecasting, financial consolidation and close, and data warehouse/management reporting.

• Build cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively across functions to coordinate completion of cross-functional deliverables.

• Perform an As-Is/To-Be Gap Analysis to identify differences between business process flows as they are now, and what they will be in the future.

• Make comprehensive recommendations covering all aspects of implementing new processes.

• Provide an executive summary to address the performed analysis, strategies to address risk, and a risk mitigation plan.

• Coordinate with customers and/or technical staff to resolve issues with software applications.

• Drive continuous innovation and communication to both your operations & other business partners.

• Support overall data strategy of centralization, consistency, automation, and visualization.

Travel: Up to 15% domestic and international travel required. Telecommuting Employee: Reports to company headquarters in Waltham, MA. Can work remotely or telecommute.

REQUIREMENTS:

MINIMUM Education Requirement: Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or any field of study.

MINIMUM Experience Requirement: 4 years of experience in Finance, IT, Project Management, Accounting, or related experience.

Alternative Education and Experience Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or any field of study plus 6 years of experience in Finance, IT, Project Management, Accounting, or related experience. Required knowledge or experience with:

• Development and Implementation with Workiva, Dodeca, and Blackline modules;

• RPA, IPA, and Process Optimization;

• Lean/Six Sigma management experience;

• Managing a direct or matrixed team in defining responsibilities, setting and tracking deliverables, and prioritizing and executing projects;

• FP&A activities, with process improvement; and

• Corporate financial systems, including SAP, ERP, BPC Management Reporting and Financial Consolidation processes.

• Can work remotely.
