AWARE seeks to provide opportunities for employees to grow professionally through its tuition advancement program, professional development opportunities and in-house trainings.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:Experience in human services, skill in working with individuals with developmental disabilities and with individuals undergoing acute episodes of psychiatric distress.A thorough understanding of the above-noted services, individuals, resources, and tools. Must have the ability to assess clients from a strengths model perspective, along with the skills, knowledge, and abilities to develop a theoretical perspective, in addition to the ability to work with a variety of people.AWARE empowers its employees to operate under the auspices of AWARE’s Unconditional Care Principles.RequirementsKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Good organizational skills and administrative abilities.Flexibility in days and hours available for scheduled work including weekends.Familiarity with Montana’s Developmental Disabilities System, community support systems, health care and human service resources, court, and police activities, etc.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Three (3) years of experience is required and/or an associate degree in a Human Services field or minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any field and minimum of two years of appropriate and related experience in Human ServicesTo learn more please visit www.aware-inc.org.Benefits:AWARE proudly offers an excellent benefits package, uniquely designed to support you and your family in staying well, professional growth, and achieving financial security.
