GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

Incumbent would be responsible to support daily activity including, but not limited to data cleansing and formatting, actuarial modeling, report creation and distribution, supporting client relationships, and presentation development

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Assisting with preparation of periodic financial market update reports that provide clients and consultants an overview of the financial markets during the specific time span.

  • Data collection, news aggregation and research of various market events and economic releases across all major economies.

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in an actuarial consulting or insurance company setting preferred

  • Understanding of (re)insurance terminology, possibly knowledge or awareness of ratemaking, reserving & GI terminology

  • Steady exam progress on your actuarial qualifications with a proven track record of applying actuarial techniques and should have cleared at-least 1-2 CT actuarial exams

  • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment by being respectful and supportive of others, communicating openly (both oral and written) and constructively and being an active listener.

  • A global mindset and the drive to work in international teams

  • Occasional overlap of 1-2 hours in the evening to communicate with our teams in the US and attend client meetings

    SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED :

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel application, including the ability to create graphs and tables

  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint application, ability to prepare client presentations

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word application, ability to prepare client Quarterly Monitoring Reports

  • Communicate with colleagues around the world, to identify their needs

  • Liaise with investment managers and collect information on their offerings

  • Demonstrate initiative in completing projects

  • Ability to deliver high quality work within tight deadlines

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment on a variety of projects, receive instructions from a number of people, and meet project deadlines

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Self-motivated and goal oriented
