Oversee, manage, maintenance, and strategically advise on MBS Shared equipment (service agreements, fix versus replacement analysis, etc.). Should possess excellent communication skills and be able to gather information and make recommendations when instruments don't function properly.Act as liaison with Environmental Health and Safety to ensure proposed disposal of chemicals and perform equipment decontamination procedures, as described.Oversee and manage the care, stocking, maintenance, etc. of shared MBS research spaces (Cold Rooms, Dark Rooms, Film Processors, Autoclaves, etc.)Oversee training, user logs, and compliance of all MBS shared equipment and shared spaces.Manage and collaborate with CNS Facilities and other agencies for MBS surplus, lab closeouts, research lab moves, and/or renovations, etc.Act as liaison with CBRS and other UT agencies to assist MBS with research equipment and space needs.Act as liaison with CNS IT and assist with shared IT equipment.Act as liaison with MBS Administrative team on space and inventory.Other related functions as assigned.
